Membership Suspension Policy
This policy exists to ensure that all members can use the gym in a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment. The gym reserves the right to suspend or terminate memberships where member behaviour breaches gym rules, compromises safety, or negatively affects other members.
All members are expected to follow gym rules and act respectfully towards staff, other members, and the facility.
Behaviour That May Lead to Suspension
Membership may be suspended or terminated for behaviour including (but not limited to):
Allowing non-members access to the gym (including tailgating or sharing entry access).
Allowing another person to use your membership.
Bullying, harassment, or behaviour that makes other members feel uncomfortable or unsafe.
Abusive or aggressive behaviour towards staff or members.
Misuse of gym equipment or ignoring safety instructions.
Use of alcohol or drugs within the facility.
Vandalism, theft, or deliberate damage to equipment or property.
Breaches of gym rules.
Tampering with equipment or emergency systems.
Any behaviour that places yourself or others at risk.
During unmanned hours members must take extra responsibility for safety and rule compliance. Because staff are not present during these hours, breaches during unmanned access may result in stronger disciplinary, even legal action.
Management Discretion
The gym reserves the right to:
Determine the severity of rule breaches.
Apply appropriate disciplinary action.
Suspend or terminate membership where necessary to protect the safety and wellbeing of members and staff.
